Couples Therapy
Gottman Method + Emotion Focused Therapy + Christian Worldview
Improve your communication as a couple and as parents
Welcome to Couples Therapy!
Every couple can benefit from a neutral third party from time to time. I am so glad you are willing to get that kind of support for your relationship. When working with you, my goal will be to listen well to both of you, so that I can offer a customized experience that matches your specific needs.
I use a combination of the Gottman Method (a lot of great data on what makes relationships work), Emotion Focused Therapy (a style that highlights the emotions impacting communication), and a Christian worldview. I also specialize in cross-cultural or multi-racial relationships.
Improved communication creates shared meaning between you and those you care about. That meaning becomes the foundation of conflict resolution and problem solving. I encourage you to take a look at my specializations to get a more detailed idea of how I can support you. In addition, I offer a free consultation call so you can ask anything you like before our first session.
Choosing a couples therapist is a very personal decision. If you feel the spark, I look forward to talking with you soon!

Marriage + Hurt
In martial love, hurt will emerge, causing difficulty in hearing and seeing each other. Whether through grief, trauma, infidelity, inconsistent connection, or communication challenges, marriage counseling offers a space to process the hurt together with the support of someone who cares.
